Music To Boost Concentration: Review Of Focus At WillTuesday, January 19, 2016
Do you like to have music playing in the background whilst you work? I know I do. However, I have tried to cut back on this since I find myself getting distracted by my favorite songs and it actually takes me much longer to complete my task.
So for the past two weeks, I have been putting a website to the test. And this isn't just any website. In fact, it is a scientifically optimized music streaming service that will help you focus and concentrate MORE whilst working. When I read about this, I was very curious to try it out for my self. Now that I have, I am ready to share my experience.
The website in question is "Focus at will". They explain the science behind why their service works and I totally agree with them .Music can be distracting but the right kind can actually boost your level of concentration. As you can see from the screenshot above, they offer a free trial without any strings attached. It is super easy to create an account and once that is done you are taken to a music player.
They have quite a selection ranging from classical to acoustical from cinematic to simply the sound of moving water. I tried all the categories and I truly enjoyed the classical as well as cinematic. I even went ahead and tried the skip button when I found that any particular music wasn't cutting it for me, that's a really nice feature in my opinion.
So the million dollar question, did this website help me focus better? I would say yes, it did! I intentionally tested it out when I had a deadline project due and it didn't distract me at all. Instead, I was calmer and more focused with this than with my regular playlists. From me, its a thumbs up to the creators of this website, they did a great job.
If you want to take a look then click here to be directed to their website. Hope you enjoy this service as much as I did.
Until next time,
